If you are craving Vietnamese food and are super hungry this is the spot to go to. I was shocked at how large the portions were at this spot. The broken rice and combination stir fried noodles all had sizes larger than most people's heads. In addition they stuff each plate with a ton of meat. In regards to the service and ambiance, the service was attentive and the ambiance is your classic pho restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised coming here! I didn't know this location existed until my friends brought me. I am part Vietnamese, so for me it's hard to find a good Vietnamese restaurant. I was very excited to try! I typically order Pho Ga (chicken pho) when trying the pho for the first time. The most important thing is the pho broth. And I really enjoyed it! It was flavorful and wasn't missing anything. It made me very happy to know of another good pho spot. I also tried the charbroiled beef vermicelli, as that's another one of my favorite dishes, and it was also very good! My husband enjoyed his combination fried rice as well, which had a combo of several different proteins. The only thing is there is very limited parking, but you can usually find a spot either on the street or in their very small parking lot in the back. All in all, I'll definitely come back when I'm looking for some good Vietnamese food!

Best Pho in all San Diego. Period. Pho Van 4 Life! I've been coming here for years and years, and I can tell you this is a no nonsense, just delicious food and fast service restaurant. If you're looking for like a boujie spot, fancy plates, and a hipster menu with vegan and gluten free options, go somewhere else. If you just simply fucking love pho, you're going to love this place.

Gunuine no frills Vietnamese spot. Laminated menu, check. Menu in both english and Vietnamese check. Not a care for decor, check. Most of the patrons are Vietnamese check. This is a solid pho place. They cater to food allergy and other restrictions without a fuss. Must try their beef stews. Those are like pho with more flavors. Price is reasonable too.

Solid pho spot in East SD! Plenty of options from com tam, pho, banh hoi, and chicken wings We got 2 bowls of pho with fresh pho noodles, super big plus that they have fresh noodles as we haven't come across any other restaurants that carry fresh pho noodles Our small bowl was super full and they did not skimp on the portioning! We also got the fish sauce wings and they were super flavorful, very crispy, but not too overpowering in fish sauce. Parking is a bit difficult because their back parking space only has 4 spaces in a narrow alley, but besides that there's street parking

Finally tried this place out after having it bookmarked for many years, hearing so many good reviews, and seeing a lot of delicious looking pictures from social media. I only tried 1 noodle soup so I might have to go back to actually try their pho. I'm not convinced yet but I'm also not putting my 1st time to the test. My husband and son got their pho they said it was okay. We are cow heads (Pho Hoa) so they are kind of hard to convince. I got the seafood noodle soup which I thought was going to be dry but it was a soup but it was still good.

One of my favorite locations for Phó in San Diego! Visited this Phó restaurant for dinner and it was delicious have been a few times before and never been disappointed! The workers are very nice and the service is quick, we only waited about 20 minutes from sitting down to when the food arrived The brisket Phó and shrimp fried rice were both delicious and I would highly recommend these as well as any item on the menu, you will not be dissapointed!!

Service/Setting Fast, attentive service. Inside was fairly standard, but clean and comfortable. Nice place and nice people. Food: I ordered a bowl of the combo pho and an order of egg rolls. The pho was good and generously served. I usually destroy my noodles fully, but I had trouble fully finishing this bowl. The egg rolls are also good! No complaints on the food Overall: A solid option for pho! Recommended
